Description
Beautiful 1920's Denver, Colorado Special Police badge with Sachs-Lawlor maker mark. The ornate badge features the Seal of the City of Denver at the top that reads: "CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER SEAL" with a banner just below that reads: "SPECIAL" and the center shows the number: "82" in black painted detail. The bottom of the badge shows another banner reading: "POLICE" in embossed lettering and the outer edge is embellished with a nice border. The reverse maker's mark reads: "SACHS-LAWLOR MAKERS DENVER".
VINTAGE:Circa 1920's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated nickel, black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
