Beautiful 1920s - 1930s McKeesport PA Police Department Custom Hat Badge

Beautiful 1920's -30's McKeesport, Pennsylvania Police Department. The center of the badge shows crossed batons over a gear wheel, across the top it reads: "McKEESPORT" and along the bottom: "POLICE". Upon its original issue, this badge was nickel-plated brass and then it was chrome-plated during its period of use in the 1930's or 40's.

Approximately 2-1/4" in length x 2" in height.

7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, was chromed during period of use, much of the chrome plating remains intact and bright.
