ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful battle-worn Royal Air Force (RAF) overseas cap named to Pilot Officer H. G. Endler, a Canadian observer serving with the RAF. The hat has an eagle insignia on the side and two eagle buttons on the front. A Royal Canadian Air force summer uniform originally belonging to Endler is also listed separately (please see link at bottom of page for information).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: No tag: approximate size 7 (measures about 11-3/4" x 4-1/2").

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, leather, twill, gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The hat shows some light wear, with some heavier wear inside.
