Aussie-Made WWII United States 5th Air Force Patch on Wool

This is an Australian-made World War II patch for the United States 5th Air Force. The patch shows a shooting star passing a number 5.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-7/8" in diameter.

Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
