ARTIFACT: This is a flight attendant hat badge 4th issue for Alaska Airlines, which began calling itself by that name in 1944. The badge shows a bird and a lone star at center against a beautiful red and dark blue enameled background (the 3rd issue badge is in red and light blue).

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Pin shows very light tarnish and wear.
