65th Regiment of Algerian Artillery Badge/Insigne 65e RAA

This is a nice example of a badge from the 65th Regiment of Algerian Artillery (Régiment d'Artillerie Algerien).

1947-1950.

Approximately 1 ½" in height by 1 3/8" in width (3.7cm by 3.6).

silver plated brass and enamel.

Safety-type pin with simple catch attached to the back.

DRAGO PARIS NICE-25.R.BERANGER III, DEPOSE, and a maker's mark that shows the letters JD.

7- (Very Fine-) This badge shows a bit of wear: The enamel has been slightly damaged, and the silver plating is mostly gone – please refer to images. However, the badge is in a generally good condition barring the wear and tarnishing.
