ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army Air Forces 356th Bomb Squadron, 302nd Bomb Group, 16th Bombardment (later, 16th Bombardment Operational) Training Wing, 2nd Air Force, Later 46th Bombardment Operational Training Wing, 1st Air Force Jacket Patch Printed on Leather. patch. The patch shows a great tiger riding the back of a Bomb.



VINTAGE: Circa 1942 - 1944.

SIZE: About 5" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed on leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): Decal is worn and faded; leather is still soft and supple.
