Description
Circa 2001 Flying Tigers Association Reunion Patch with signed letter from AVG 1st Pursuit Squadron pilot John Richard "Dick" Rossi, 6 Kill ACE. The embroidered patch depicts the 23rd Fighter Group insignia nicely embroidered with silk and bullion and reads: "FLYING TIGERS AVG". The signed letter reads: "MEMO FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF A FLYING TIGER" and is dated "11-15-01" and is signed "Best Regards, Dick Rossi" at the bottom and beneath it, the stationary reads: "AMERICAN VOLUNTEER GROUP Ð CHINESE AIR FORCE" and shows a small image of an AVG aircraft.
