Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 2000s United Air Lines shirt size pilot wing 5th Issue. The wing is by Award Concepts and its logo is enameled red, white and blue.

VINTAGE:

Circa 2000s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-1/2" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, nickel-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts with clutch-backs.

MARKINGS:

AWARD CONCEPTS maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 L/SFJX8/12

CONDITION:

8+ (Excellent): The wing has just about no wear.
