ARTIFACT: This is the first ever Spring 1986 edition of "Over the Front" Volume 1, Number 1. This publication was issued quarterly by the League of WWI Aviation Historians. This issue contains articles entitled "Fierce Days and Nights in Flanders", "Combat History of Groupe de Combat 23" and "The Ordeal of Alan Winslow". It is replete with great period photography.
