ARTIFACT: This is a 1968 first edition of H. H. Arnason's "History of Modern Art". Arnason was Vice President for Art Administration for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, and his catalog was the most comprehensive review of modern art when it was published, with 1393 illustrations of important works.

VINTAGE: Circa 1968.

SIZE: 663 pages; approximately 11-3/4" in height and 9-1/16" in width and 2-1/4" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glossy and matte paper, cloth cover, glossy dustjacket.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: PRENTICE-HALL INC. ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. AND HARRY N. ABRAMS INC., NEW YORK.
