ARTIFACT: This is a first edition paperback copy of "A History of United States Military Law Enforcement and Insignia" by William B. Hedges. Hedges served as a Marine from 1962-1964 as a senior military policeman. He was also on the California State Police and other forces after his tour of Vietnam. The short book has a brief history of American law enforcement since the Colonial days, as well as black-and-white photographs of insignia and military law enforcement agents in action. This edition was published in 1992 and is in excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Published 1992.

SIZE: 38 pages; approximately 11" in height and 8-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.
