Description
This is a 1984 Seiko quartz sports alarm chronograph H556 502This model is known was the "Pre-Arnie" (or "Baby Arnold") because it preceded Seiko's popular "Arnie-Diver". It has its original black and stainless steel link band. The face has a traditional dial face as well as a digital read-out. The reverse of the case has the Seiko wave symbol and a small suwa symbol.
VINTAGE:Circa 1984.
SIZE:Face of watch: approximately 1-7/16" in diameter. Total circumference of watch/band approximately 8-1/4" in length when closed (as shown, but is adjustable).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stainless steel, glass.
ATTACHMENT:Wristband with clasp.
MARKINGS:424128 WATER RESIST STAINLESS STEEL H556 -5029 AO (within a box); Z474 on end links on reverse of case; SEIKO SQ on outside of clasp; ALL STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN Z on inside of clasp.
