This is a circa 1980s flight attendant or purser wing for KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines). Founded in 1919, KLM is the oldest airline still in operation. The wing has a backing plate and is maker marked on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height and 2-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Loops, backing plate, cotter pin.
MARKINGS:W. VAN VELUW BV ZEIST-HOLLAND.
