ARTIFACT: This is a pilot wing first issue for Arrow Air, a company begun in 1947 by George Batchelor, an entrepreneur with some Native American lineage. The wing is very angular but finely detailed and shows a red capital A encircled by a slender golden ring at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts (no backings); one post was resoldered.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RON LFJX11/10 SEJX1/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Wing has light wear and tarnish and one post was resoldered.
