This is a pilot wing first issue for Arrow Air, a company begun in 1947 by George Batchelor, an entrepreneur with some Native American lineage. The wing is very angular but finely detailed and shows a red capital A encircled by a slender golden ring at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts (no backings); one post was resoldered.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Wing has light wear and tarnish and one post was resoldered.
