1980s American Eagle Airlines Pilot Hat Badge 2nd Issue

This is a circa 1980s pilot hat badge 2nd issue for American Eagle Airlines. American Eagle began flying in 1984 out of Fort Worth, Texas. The badge shows a laurel wreath embroidered in bullion threads beneath the American "eagle".

Circa 1980s.

Approximately 2" in height and 2-15/16" in width.

Wool embroidered in silver bullion, nickel-plated brass, paper backing.

Screw posts with disc backing.
