This is a 1970s police badge from the University of Maine at Orono. Founded as an agricultural school while President Lincoln was in office, the school assumed its present-day name in 1897.The badge shows the State seal at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" height and 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
