ARTIFACT:
This is a United States Air Force 601st Tactical Control Squadron patch. This patch dates from the time that the group was stationed at Pruem Air Station in Germany, between 1975 and 1988. The patch reads Die Adleraugen ("Hawkeyes"). The patch shows the head of a black hawk near two jets and two lightning bolts.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1970s - 1980s.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 2-7/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:
