Description

ARTIFACT:

Great 1967 coffee mug from the Signal School 13th Annual human factors research and development conference. The front of the mug features a shield with a torch in the center against a background of orange, and the base of the shield depicts the insignia of crossed signal flags in red and white detail and scroll reads: "PRO PATRIA VIGILANS", and the top of the shield shows a closed fist holding onto bolts of electricity in red detail and surrounding it reads: "THE SIGNAL SCHOOL", "HOME OF THE SIGNAL CORPS". The reverse reads: "13TH ANNUAL US ARMY HUMAN FACTORS R&D CONFERENCE US ARMY SIGNAL CENTER FT MONMOUTH, N. J. 25 - 27 OCTOBER 1967". The underside shows a nice marker's mark that reads: "A VULCAN PRODUCT EBSCO INDUSTRIES, INC. BIRMINGHAM 3, ALABAMA"

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The coffee mug shows moderate to heavy wear and crazing to inside bottom, much of the painted details remain intact.
