1960s USAF Alaskan Air Command Family Services Patch

This is a 1960s Alaskan Air Command Family Service patch. The air command began in 1945 as a first line of defense against air attacks on Canada and the United States. The patch shows a star with one wing flying above a constellation of seven smaller stars.

Circa 1960s.

Approximately 4-1/16" in height and 3" in width.

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
