ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful circa 1960s United States Government leather briefcase Type IV. The briefcase unlocks with the keys provided, and is in an accordion-style with two interior pockets. Reeves, the name written on the front of the case, was a United States Air Force navigator during the 1960s.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 15-3/4" in height (including handle) and 16" in width and about 6-1/4" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, brass.

ATTACHMENT: Swiveling handle, lock, metal feet.

MARKINGS: REEVES written on sides (extremely light, almost imperceptible presence); U.S.A. CREST LOCK CO. NO. 75 on both keys.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The briefcase shows only some light wear and the extremely light, almost imperceptible presence of the name REEVES on both sides.
