Description
Scarce 1960's Pan Am Ground Crew Manager visor hat with scarce "Ground Personnel" Badge. The hat badge is round and reads: "PAN AM". The visor hat is white vinylized canvas with a black vinyl visor and gilt brass and bullion details, the inside shows a maker's tag that reads: "ALL ??? BILT UNIFORMS 450 6TH AVE. NEW YORK CITY" and a hand-written identification card that reads: "IVER STENBORG". Born in Boston, Mr. Stenborg devoted 32 years of his life to working as a manager for Pan American Airlines in Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles. Also a veteran, prior to his career with Pan Am, Mr. Stenborg served in the United States Air Force and fought in Germany during WWII.
