ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s Pan Am Airways Check Pilot wing by Balfour.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

About 2-1/4" in width by 1-1/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

10K gold-filled with enamel accents.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS:

Balfour maker's mark followed by: 1/10 10KGF.

CONDITION:

9 (Excellent-Near Mint): Very minor wear; enamel is in excellent condition.
