Description
1960's North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Operator Badge. The center of the badge displays the State Seal of North Carolina and is surrounded by a blue enameled ring which reads: "STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA". The top of the badge shows a spread winged eagle with a bowed head, beneath it reads: "OPERATOR" and the outer edge of the center reads: "DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES N. C.". The reverse shows a nice maker's plate that reads: "RUSSELL UNIFORM CO. NEW YORK"
