Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1960s 1st officer wing 6th Issue for Eastern Airlines by Balfour. The wing shows a golden bird (falcon) logo against a sky blue background at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-filled with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts with clutch-back backings, enamel center is riveted on.

MARKINGS:

Balfour maker mark, 1/10 10K.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX12 LDGEX7/12 SDGEX1/14

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has only some light wear.
