ARTIFACT: This is a 1959 medallion marking the thirtieth anniversary of Delta Airlines. The lightweight medallion reads FROM TRAVELAIRES IN 1929 TO DC-8 JET LINERS IN 1959 and shows both aircraft in relief.

VINTAGE: Circa 1959.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-1/2" in diameter and just over 1/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass-encapsulated aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Hole.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The medallion shows some small areas of moderate wear and tarnishing.
