This is a 1959 medallion marking the thirtieth anniversary of Delta Airlines. The lightweight medallion reads FROM TRAVELAIRES IN 1929 TO DC-8 JET LINERS IN 1959 and shows both aircraft in relief.
VINTAGE:Circa 1959.
SIZE:Approximately: 1-1/2" in diameter and just over 1/16" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass-encapsulated aluminum.
ATTACHMENT:Hole.
MARKINGS:None.
