1958 USMC HMR(L)-261 (Marine Helicopter Transport Squadron-Light 261) Vulcan Lighter

This is a circa 1958 United States Marine Corps HMR(L)-261 full-size lighter by Vulcan. Also known as the "Raging Bulls", the squadron flew H-34 Choctaws. The front of the lighter has an applied enameled bull insignia and the reverse is engraved HMR (L) 261 MAG (HR) (L) 26 1958 (MAG stands for Marine Aircraft Group).

Circa 1958.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width and 1/2" in thickness.

Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.

Hinge.
