This is a circa 1950s member hat badge for the Wanamassa, New Jersey First Aid Squad, which has been around since 192The badge was made by C.G. Braxmar of New York and has a gilt brass cross at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated and gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:C.G. BRAXMAR CO. 216 EAST 45th ST. N.Y. on backing.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and some minor oxidation on the cross.
