This is a patch for the United States Air Force 302nd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (photography unit). The patch shows an RF-80 aircraft cruising with a camera and binoculars. Smoke surrounding the aircraft's exhaust spells out 302.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in red and gold cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
