Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Trans-Canada Airlines cap badge that was made in Montreal. TCA flew from 1937 to 1965 when it changed its name to Air Canada. The badge is a detailed maple leaf bearing a boomerang logo and the letters TCA.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two screw posts with disc backings.

MARKINGS:

SCULLY LTD. MONTREAL.
