ARTIFACT: 1950's Suburban Bus Lines driver hat badge. This Chicago area badge reads: "SUBURBAN BUS LINES" and shows the number "1" at the very base of the badge. The top of the badge features the enameled image of a bus in light blue and white detail. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "FIFTH AVENUE UNIFORM COMPANY 19 SO. WELLS CHICAGO".

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass, enamel, brass screwback

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and stabilizer pins

MARKINGS: "FIFTH AVENUE UNIFORM COMPANY 19 SO. WELLS CHICAGO"

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear and verdigris, some of the chrome plated and enamel details remain intact.
