ARTIFACT:

This is a flight attendant cap badge from Mexicana Airlines (Compania Mexicana Aviacion), the oldest airline in North America with a route piloted in 1929 by Charles Lindbergh. The badge is a half wing with a medallion showing the outline of Mexico and reads CMA.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 2-9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
