ARTIFACT:

This is a 1950s Birmingham (Ohio) Fire Department patch. It is in cotton with great chain-stitch embroidery.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-1/8" in height and 4-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has only some light to medium wear, mostly along its edge.
