This is a 1942 War Edition of "The Ships and Aircraft of the United States Fleet" by James C. Fahey of the US Naval Institute. The book has several black and white photographs illustrating all types of both ships and planes in use by the Navy and Coast Guard during early to mid-World War II. It was published by Ships and Aircraft of New York City and has an alphabetical index by ship name in the back.

Published 1942.
