Description
This is the patch that the United States Army Air Forces 88th Reconnaissance Squadron, 7th Bomb Group was wearing as they arrived at Pearl Harbor under Japanese fire during the attack on December 7, 194The patch is in a brilliant orange and shows a cowboy riding a bucking bronco.
VINTAGE:Circa 1941.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/8' in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chenille embroidered on felt mounted on felt, cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows little wear but main patch is attached to orange felt backing by a thread.
