Jane started "Jane's" in 1909 and it was subsequently published in the United States and Canada. This volume is a wonderful reference, with information covering both military aircraft and air forces as well as historical civil aviation. After a lengthy stretch of excellent vintage ads and the main part of the book, there are chapters entitled "A Review of the World's Civil Aviation", "All the World's Aeroplanes" and "All the World's Aer0-Engines". Each section is arranged alphabetically by nation. The book has no dust jacket, and there is an airplane-shaped logo bearing the title of the book impressed on both its front and reverse.
