ARTIFACT:
This is a 1940s Eastern Air Lines lapel pin for five years of service. The pin is a petite wing in 10 karat gold with the great red and blue Eastern bird logo at center. It has one diamond chip at bottom.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1940s.
SIZE:
5/16" height and 7/8" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
10 karat gold with enamel and diamond chip.
ATTACHMENT:
Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:
10K and maker's mark (W in a torch) on reverse of pin and R.G.P. (for Rolled Gold Plate) SHOE on screwback.
