ARTIFACT:
1940's - 1950's Rockingham County, New Hampshire Mobile Police hat and breast badge #15 set. The breast badge shows the State Seal in the center in nice detail and surrounding it reads: "STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE". The badge is topped with an eagle, wings spread and head bowed and below it reads: "MOBILE POLICE ROCKINGHAM COUNTY" and the bottom displays the #15 in black painted detail. The nicely embellished hat badge features a raised disc that shows the State Seal and surrounding it also reads: "STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE" below two banners read: "MOBILE POLICE" and the number "15" is applied to the bottom.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1940's - 1950's.
SIZE:
Hat badge: About 1-11/16" in width by 2-11/16" in height; Breast badge: About 1-13/16" in width by 2-1/2" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Chrome-plated brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:
Hat badge: Single screw post and single stabilizing pin; Breast badge: Vertical pin with a "come-under" locking catch.

9- (Excellent+): Very minor wear, nearly all the chrome plated details remain fully intact.
