This is a 1939 New Hampshire Jockey Club (NHJC) guest badge on a green and white cord. The NHJC was established in 1936 and assumed ownership of Rockingham Park, a harness racing track in Salem, New Hampshire. The diamond-shaped badge is enameled in green and white, and would have been presented for race access.
VINTAGE:Circa 1939.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 1" in width; cord about 8-1/2" in total length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel, cord.
ATTACHMENT:Suspension loop, cord.
MARKINGS:None.
