This is a Spanish Civil War donation fob for supplying aid to the wounded of the Republican forces. The front has a great scene in relief showing soldiers behind a helmeted goddess-protectress figure. The reverse reads AIDE A L'ESPAGNE REPBLICAINE 1938 C.I.A.E.
VINTAGE:Circa 1938.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 5/8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Loop.
MARKINGS:R. PELLETIER at front bottom.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The fob has some areas of moderate wear with a few small spots of oxidation.
