ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "Mein Fliegerleben" (My Flying Life) by General Colonel Ernst Udet. Udet was a World War I ace in the Flying Circus, scoring second only to one other pilot, a stunt pilot, a motorcyclist, cartoonist, the Director-General of Equipment for the Luftwaffe and friend of Hermann Göring. Udet committed suicide in November 1945 while on the phone with his girlfriend. This book has a great bi-plane graphic on the cover.

VINTAGE: Published 1935.

SIZE: 192 pages including black and white photographs; approximately 8-5/8" in height and 5-3/4" in width and 1-1/4" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-bound cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: "Andrejs Ziraks" written inside and another name written on the table of contents written inside.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX05 LCEX6/13

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The spine of the book is connected by only one side; moderate to heavy areas of wear to the cover; some handwriting and spots of discoloration inside.
