ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1932 paperback copy of "Launch: A Lifeboat Book", by Britain's General Jack Seely. Perhaps most famous for his cavalry charge at the 1918 Battle of Moreuil Wood, Seely also was a Life-boat Service member, held several titles and acted as Britain's Secretary of State for War. The book begins with a letter penned by Edward, the Price of Wales. The cover has a great color illustration made expressly for the publication of this book.

128 pages; approximately 7-5/16" in height and 5" in width and 3/4" in thickness.
