ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s to World War II United States Navy / Naval Academy sports sweetheart pin in gold-filled sterling silver. The pin is two parts linked by a chain: one pin is an anchor bearing the letters USN and the other is a butting goat wearing a blue blanket labeled NAVY.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-World War II.

SIZE: Anchor pin: 7/16" in height and 5/16" in width; goat pin: 3/8" height and 5/8" width; length of chain: 1-11/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Each part of the pin has a pin with a drop-in locking swivel catch and are joined by a linked chain.

MARKINGS: STERLING + 1/20 10K on anchor pin; AMICO STERLING on goat pin.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDX95 LDEX11/10 SDEX12/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin has some light wear and tarnish.
