Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s United States Marine Corps corporal sweetheart pin. The pin is a small China Marine eagle, globe and anchor joined to a small enameled double chevron by a chain.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's.

SIZE:

Pins are approximately 9/16" in height by 7/16" in width and 1/2" in height by 1/2" in width; chain is 2" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pins with drop-in locking catches; chain.

MARKINGS:

None.
