This is a 1930s United States Marine Corps machine gun expert badge by Meyer. The pin shows an eagle, globe and anchor above a target wreathed in laurel leaves hanging beneath three bars which read U.S. MARINE CORPS EX-T.S.M.G. EX-MACH. GUN.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:2-1/2" height and 1-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw pin with disc backing.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER NEW YORK and the maker's mark appears twice.
