Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s United States Army Air Force 21st Reconnaissance Squadron pin. The pin is round and shows a winged Hermes carrying a message in hand against a blue background.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

1" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under swivel catch.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): Pin shows spots of wear and some crazing on front but has gorgeous colors and patina.
