This is a TWA Transcontinental lapel pin by Balfour. TWA began in 1930 when Transcontinental Air Transport merged with Western Air Express. The pin is a golden wing with a red enameled center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:1/4" height and 15/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:L. G. BALFOUR CO on backing.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Pin has some light tarnish and all enamel is intact.
