Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a colorful and beautifully designed circa 1930s donation plaque for the NSV, or National Socialist Volkswohlfahrt (Public Welfare Service). The plaque is in celluloid, nickel and tin and shows a black eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The backplate has a maker mark.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid, nickel, tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Back plate.

MARKINGS:

Paulmann Crone Ludenscheid.
