This is a 1930's Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Mechanic Rate Patch. It is Green on red, with two green crossed hammers under the CCC in the middle of the patch. Above is a tree in the same green thread.
VINTAGE:Ca. 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-11/16"-2-1/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered on woven wool.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:"C.C.C."

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Light fraying, but otherwise excellent condition.
