Nice 1930's CCC Capital City Club Atlanta, Georgia Dinner Plate by Scammell China

ARTIFACT:

This is a great 1930's China dinner plate for the CCC Capital City Club of Atlanta, Georgia. Organized in 1883, the CCC was a prominent Southern club and gathering place for business professionals and even three Presidents of the United States. The plate shows the club's coat of arms at its center and reads CARPE DIEM (Seize the day). The plate is by Scammell China of Trenton, New Jersey.

Circa 1930's.

Approximately 10-1/8" in diameter.
